  1. In or around the year 1887 Evictions of five families took place in the townlands of Greaghnafarna, Dernahona, and Corralubber. Those who were evicted in Greaghnafarna were James Creamer (a widower) and his three sons John, Bartly and Thomas.
    Martin Creamer, and Frank Clancy from their homes and land in Dernahona were evicted.
    James Loughlin (Staffy) Stephen Loughlin [?] in Corralubber and also Thomas Kelliher(Daddy). After a short time all the evicted tenants were reinstated by a settlement with the Agent except the Creamer family, not including Martin.
    There were two emergency men placed on James Creamer’s holding and the Creamers got shelter in neighbouring houses until such time as John got his children to the work-house. Thomas got a Land League house erected on the mearing of his former homestead. Bartly continued to live with a neighbour named Myles Gilchrist.
    The emergency man “John Kelly” went one day to the agent’s office in Dromahair, and on his return home he drank to such an excess that he fell dead on the road at the spot where the residence of James McGourty,
