    lake near hand and if the can be heard shouting very loudly it is a sign of storm. If we hear the sea roaring at Sligo it is an indication of storm. If outlying cattle that are up on hills or rocks come down to hollow land for shelter it is an indication of storm. If there is a mist on Killery and if it is not cleared at twelve oclock the day will be wet, and if it is the day will be good.
