  1. Long ago there were a great many landlords in this country. One of them was Tottenham and he lived in Glenfarne. He had over a thousand acres of land and he built a house on it. This house is to be seen yet. He had two grand avenues into it but they are destroyed now. He had about one hundred men working on it every day. He had a great many sawmills working also and he used to send timber away to other parts of the country. He had a railway going out to the station from his own house to bring out timber.
