    During the penal times about one hundred and fifty years ago the parishes of Glenade, Kinlough, and Ballaghmeehan were on parish and that parish was called Rossinver. There was only one chapel in the parish and one priest whose name was Curneen. The chapel was situated in the townland of Aughamore. This priest was hated very much by the Protestants especially by the Johnstons of Kinlough and he was not allowed to say mass in the chapel. This priest
