    Once upon a time there lived a man name Martin Morrisy in the county Sligo. He was married and he had a sister living in the county Dublin. Every day he brought a creelof turf from the adjacent bog. On the way to the bog he had to cross a river and as there was no bridge on it he had to walk on a plank of wood.
    At that time there was no post and the majority of the people had no education and some of them were not able to read or write. When a person would write to their friends they had to
