    flying it is the sign of a storm.
    Hills When the hills seem to be near it is the sign of rain
    Ashes When the ashes are very blue it is the sign of rain also.
    Crows When we are near a fall of rain the crows begin to perch on the walls, and ditches.
    Frogs A frog changing his colour that is too black it is the sign of rain, and when you see a yellow frog it is the sign of very fine weather.
    Slates If you see the slates of a house shinning it is the sign of rain.
    Mountains When the mountains look very clear it is the sign of frost, and when they look very white it is the sign of snow. If you can hardly see the mountains it is the sign of bad weather.
