   Three or more can play this game. They pretend to have a fire. One goes blowing it saying "I'll blow the fire." Maimeen is the mother hen who arranges the others, her chickens, behind her. Maimeen: "What are you blowing the fire for?" "To dry the bags." There are two or three bags beside the fire. M: "What do you want the bags for?" "To draw sand." M: "What do you want the sand for?" "To scour knives." M: "What do you want the knives for?" "To cut the heads off your chickens." M: "What do you want to cut the heads off my chickens for?" " Because they were in eating my oats." M: "You won't cut the heads off my chickens." "Well I will." The person at the fire tires to cut the heads off the chickens and Maimeen saves them.

   Maimeen goes to the town and gives each of the children a job to do before she goes. She tells one to wash the dishes another to ready the dinner etc.

   Instead of doing the jobs they follow her and follow her into the shops. She dosen't see them. She buys
