  2. When people have measles they boil nettles and drink the juice of it as a cure for it. When people have warts they rub a piece of meat and then they bury it, and when the meat rots the warts rot also. When people have the whooping cough they get a donkey and give it a plateful of oaten meal and whatever the donkey leaves they eat it and then they crawl between the donkey's legs and they say that will cure them. When anybody has the mumps he gets
