  1. Songs

There are many scenes of beauty,

This song is said to be composed by Master Dunleavy and is entitled "Foxford on the Moy."

There are many scenes of beauty
In old Eirinn to be found.
    Killarney's lakes, Avoca's Vale,
    And Tara's lovely mound.
But of all the scenes on memory press,
    There's none recalls the joy
Like that around old Foxford town,
    Sweet Foxford on the Moy.

It is not known who composed this song.
    The title is "The Fox."

    (I)
The fox went out of a moonlit night,
"By Jove" said the fox "it is a fine night,"
The farmer's house is but a mile off,
And I'll toddle away to the towny, oh towny,
I'll toddle away to the towny, Oh.

    (II)
The foxy went to the farmer's gate
The first thing he met was a duck and drake (?)
