  1. On St. Stephen's day the young boys go out collecting money. They have ribbons on their caps and they are called Wren Boys because on that day the wren got caught in the furze. On St. Patrick's day all the people wear shamrock on their coats in honour of St. Patrick.
    On Shrove Tuesday the people throw salt at each other. The people make pancakes on that night and it is called pancake night.
