    This prayer was the prayer they had long ago and every one knew it. They would pray only for their own family and say:-
    ''God bless me and my wife
    My brother John and his wife
    Us four and no more
    For ever more. Amen''
    When a tinker comes into a house for milk. He would say when he had it got:-
    ''God bless you''
    ''God bless the givers and the takers''
    When a person is dying the old women used to say:-
    ''Pray pray fervent and fast that the Lord God may take your soul away for it is your last. Amen.
