  1. The name of my home district is Kilvine. There are over sixty families in it.
Most of the houses are thatched there are very few slated. It got it's name from an old Church that was there long ago but now in ruins and it is said that St. Patrick's sister Viene was buried there so then it was called Kilvine.
All the old people know how to tell English and Irish stories.
A great number of the people go from here to America.
