    Weather Lore.
    When wind is blowing from the sout west we will have rain. when it blows from the east we will have snow or very cold weather. and when it blows from the north, will hail or very cold weather. The people of Clonmel believe that if a new moon comes on Saturdy we will have bad weather for a month.
    when the sun is going down in the west, if the sky is very red or wellow, the following day
