    Long ago the people had no night lights as we have now. They used to make candles out of rushes by dipping them in fat. Another light was made of bog-deal. This light was called a Fáideóg. They had old candle sticks for holding the rush candles and the fáidheógs. We have one of those candle sticks yet. My father said that it must
