    the sheriff driving his fathers cattle to the pound to Westport. Hugh took a spade dug a hole in the ground and the water began to spring up. All the cattle took a drink of this water and then turned and in spite of the sherriff they got home. This well is still to be seen near Westport and is known as "Tober Aodh."
