  1. Whooping cough: - (1) Ask a man riding on a white Mare what he would recommend. And whatever he tells you to do, do it.
    (2) Give a ferret some milk to drink and give whatever milk he leaves after him to the person who has the whooping cough.
    (3) The person having whooping cough should cross three times under a donkeys belly.
    (4) To get a snail, tie it up in a handkerchief and tie it under the persons neck who is suffering from the whooping cough and as the snail is failing the whooping cough is getting lighter.
