“About one hundred years ago there lived in Dromline a mason named John Crowe.”
About about one hundred years ago there lived in Drumline a Mason named John Crowe, He was a skilled Workman, and could work anything in stone.
He built his own house , and one stone near the fireplace he cut out two hounds in persuit of a hare, and on another the head of a man.
These two stones could be seen up to a few years ago, but unfortunately there were broken when a new house was being erected on the site of the old one.
