    People hang holl ivy and mistletoe round the house for decorations. Palm is given out on palm Sunday in Memory of Our Lords journey to Jerusalem when palm was thrown under his feet for a carpet.
    On May Day people get a whin bush and they stick the end of it in a bucket. Then they get eggshells and coloured paper and they put it on the top of the bush and they leave it outside the door this bush is called a May Bush.
    People cut a green sod and they put it on (a calfs) the back of a calf that would be born on May Day. There are streams running out of St Ciarans well and there is a cure in each stream.
