“A few hundred yards west of Tinahely...”
A few hundred yards west of Tinahely is still to be seen the remaining foundation walls and spacious deep cellar rooms of a very large castle supposed to be built by the Earl of Strafford nicknamed Black Tom from his appearance and notoriety of that time.
