    Whooping Cough:- If two people of the same name were married a piece of bread which the woman would make would cure the whooping cough.
    Another cure was to crawl under an ass three times while the ass was eating oatmeal.
    A visit to Kearney's Well.
    A visit to St Brochan's Well in Clonsast.
    eat food left behind by a ferret.
    Boil plantation leaves and drink the water.
