    Local Heroes
    The men supposed to be the strongest in the district are the Creewood Tug O'War team. These men had many challenges and at nearly all proved successful. They won twenty six sets of medals and three challenge cups. One of the cups was the Mac Ardle challenge cup which was won at Ardee
