  1. A fog in the hollow is a fine day to-morrow and a fog ion the hill brings water to the mill. If we can look at the sun without a glare affecting our eyes it is a sign of thunder.
    It is a sign of rain when the sun is clouded.
    When the wind is coming from the south west it is a sign of rain and when it is coming from the north east it is a sign of dry weather.
