- This game is played with a ball. A crowd of children stand round in a ring, and they pass the ball to one another. If one misses catching it, he gets the letter D. If he misses it a second time, he gets the letter O. This continues, till one boy gets all the letters of the word. Donkey. then the rest of the children knock him down and ride him.
