  1. There is a leipreachan in the Fair green, Athboy. The name is not known. He is about a foot and a half high. He wears a red hat going up into a point, a green coat, and shoes curling up at the top. He lives up in the trees. His usual occupation is mending boots. He always has a jug by his side.
    A man named John Castles is said to have caught the leipreachan but he told him to look around and when he looked back again it was gone.
