    One day a man named Paddy Lawless was sowing oats in the field of the fort at Carrickanane, he found he was short a bag to finish the field. He took a short cut through a fort that was in his field. There he found a bag lying on the grass of the fort. He took the bag to where he was working and sowed the oats. That evening he sent one of his men to put a bag of oats on the fort. The next morning he went to
