of Collon revived the pious custom and now on the 9th - June many people go there and do their "rounds". Usually the rosary is said the people going round the well and kneeling for each decade. There is a hawthorn tree growing at the well and girls and women usually leave a piece of coloured cloth or ribbon on the tree. Some people take home some of the water. There no authentic cure mentioned in connection with the well.
