  1. Long ago an old man from the Parish of Kilshanny went one morning at the break of day to his neighbours house. When he reached the house the people were not up and he thought it too early to call them. So he put his shoulder against the door and it fell in with him. He got surprised he thought the man of the house was drunk last night and he forgot to lock the door. When he wen in, in-side the door was a pot of stirabout and half of it eaten more of it scattered
