  1. There are three blessed wells in the parish of Kilshanny namely Saint Augustine's well, Saint Senan's well and Saint Craven's well.
    People visit the wells on certain days. People visit Saint Augustine's well on the 28th of August because Saint Augustine is the patron Saint of the parish.
    Everyone that goes to the well says five our fathers five Hail Marys and five Glorys.
    People drink the water or if they old people they would bring some of it home. People who have sore eyes goes to Saint Senan's or Saint Craven's well because they say that if you rubbed the moss to your eyes they would get better.
