    The following implements are used at forges; hammers, sledges, anvils, tongs, punches, and knives of every discription. They have vices also. The smiths shoe horses and asses but do not shoe cattle. They make grubbers and repair hay racks, ploughs and hay gathereres. They also put legs on pots and make cabbage knives. They put bands on wheels.
    They put bands on wheels in the open air and do other work such as mending farmer's machinery.
    Smiths are noted for their strength and courage in nearly all parishes.
    In Clonganhue in the parish of Cappawhite about three miles from my district. Sansfield shod his horse as he was going to Ballynetry The smith who did the work is not known. There was a smith
