    are six families and OConnor in Lower Kilconlea of which there are about eight families.
    Irish speaking
    Mostly all the old people who used to speak Irish are now dead but there is still one man remaining named Patrick ODonnell. But, There are many people that I know who understand Irish but can't speak it. The following are some that I know of, Jim Doody, Denis Lane and Denis ODonnell.
    Type of house
    At present there are as many slate houses as thatched ones to be seen throughout the country all of which are two storey high. About ten or eleven years ago the general kind of house was a thatched roof and a room at either end
