  1. Long ago a man was [?]oving at a house about a mile from where he lived. One night he was coming home through fields alone and there was no
    moon. He soon found he had gone astray and was walking through a bog.
    He tried to make his way out
    of it but he could not it was too dark.
    He was just sitting down to stay untill morning. When a light suddenly appeared and lit the place around him. Then the
    went slowly before him, he walked after it.
    The light led him out of the
    bog to the fields he had left, and
    through the fields to the road to
    which he had intended to go at first. When the light reached the road, the man saw it was his own brother who was
