  1. Cill Eoghain
    Thomas Barret - Holy Well just outside verge of old baby cemetery & fort called Cill Eoghain. Offerings such as beads etc. used be left there. Thos. Barret heard from his father Anthony Barret (born 1847) that it was a holy well. Denis Shea heard same from his mother Johanna Hickey (born 1865). Both Barrets & Hickey's are in Cill Eoghain for generations. Rounds made there as late as 1876.

    Con Meeny -: Holy Well with steam flowing from it into Fionn Abha from left back. Rounds are made there on the last three days of the week. Often made still. People walk around Well stepping across stream. The prayers to be
