    "There are four corners to my bed. There are four angels round head. One to sing, one to pray and two to carry my soul away. O Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. God bless the bed that I lie on."

    My heart and my soul I will raise unto thee
    To the five Bleeding Wounds that was nailed to a tree
    Oh Crucified Jesus have mercy on me."
    The old people used to say this prayer when they would have any trouble or misfortune on them.
