  1. From the 6th of January to Shrove Tuesday marriages take place in this district. Matches are made in this district often. Money is often given as dowry Stock are also given when people would not have the money. May and Augest are thought unlucky for marriages. Marriages used to take place in the houses about 45 years ago.
