    An old shoe thrown after the person who is leaving the house to get married brought luck. Don't look back or don't return once you have left the house.
    Go to Mass in the girl's parish on the first Sunday & in the boy's parish on the second.
    If the marriage takes place on a Saturday - no need to go to Mass on the following day.
