  1. The Cupóg (Dockleaf), Buachalán, Praiseach Bhuidhe, Feóchadán, Gaosadán & Braim-Fheár are the really harmful weeds
    Other less harmful are the leanntóg & raithneach.
    Caisreabhán & leanntóg are used as food for pigs. Boiled first
    Uarán(s) are given in their natural state to cattle.
    Furze is also given as food to horses during winter.
    Boiled ivy is used as a cure for ring-worm or corns.
    Caor a'mhadra, heated to the fire & applied to a wound or sore, is said to cure if left there for a day.
    Cupóg cures the sting of a nettle.
