    forty four people which is a small population in comparison to long ago. There are three old people namely Mr and Mrs MacParthlon and Mrs Guihen but still they are able to go for their weekly pensions. Most of the local names are historical and Rynn is the most common name. The houses are mostly thatched and all the ancient ones are in ruins because their inhabitants emigrated to foreign lands owing to the Famine. Some of the land is well cultivated and tilled.
