  2. Our churn is four feet high and about two feet wide at the top and bottom. The sides of it are round. It is twenty years old. The parts are the lid, the wheel and the handle. There is no mark on the bottom nor sides.
    Butter is made once a week in Winter and twice a week in Summer. My mother makes the butter. When people come in they help at the work.
    The churn is made by the hand and turned round in a ring. When the butter is made, the glass becomes clear. Warm water is put in to the churn in the Winter and cold in the Summer.
    The butter is washed with cold water. Then it is lifted out with butter bats. Three drops of holy
