    it sounds in the winter it is a sign of frost. If you hear ducks calling it is a sign of rain. When the spider creeps from his den you will have rain. If you hear a cricket singing sharply in the chimney it is a sign of rain. If the soot in the chimney is falling you shall have rain. When the moon is pale in the evening you shall have rain. That is all the information we got about weather lore. At least these are the signs that are used by the people at present but long ago there were other signs but I do not know them.
