We play hop-scotch too. We draw out five squares beside other on the ground with a stick. We stand behind the first square with a bit of slate in our hands and each in turn hops from one square to the other on one foot. We throw the slate into the first square and hop through all the square, to the end. Then we hop back and pick up the slate, still on one leg, and throw it into the second square and so on. Whoever can put the piece of slate in every square to the end without putting down his second foot wins the game.
