(continued from previous page)waited for him near a big hole of stagnant water about sixty yards from Hennessey's house.When Giles came up Michael gave a roar, and caught Giles, pulled him of the cart and searched his pockets. He found the processes and he tore them into smithereens and stuffed them into Gile's mouth.Next he flung Giles into the hole of water, and danced on him, and left him there more dead that alive while he himself went home with his load of sea-weed.Someone passing by picked up Giles and placed him in his donkey and cart which took him home. On the following day the police-men tried to find the person who assaulted Giles.They arrested the whole family of the Hennesseys but never questioned Michael who held drawing sea-weed all the time.Nothing could be proved against the Hennesseys so they were left out after a time. Michal is alive yet, but Giles is dead for some time.Shortly after his treatment from Michael he was visited in his house by moon-lighters.
