One night about half past twelve as Mr. James Ruane, Mr. John Caulfield and Mr. Thomas Kenny were returning home from card playing Mr Ruane saw a black pig walking before him on the road. He told his companions and they looked and searched about but they could not see or hear anything. When he reached home he told his story and next morning when he rose from his bed he found his father dead in bed.
