  1. About 80 years ago a man named Mark Dowd lived in the townland of Farrelnafarrell Dronore West. He had a heifer and this heifer strayed from his farm. He searched the townland + neighbouring townland for her + could not get tale nor [?] of her. There was a fair in Balline + he set off in that direction hoping he might meet someone who might give him some [?] of her. When about five miles from Dronore West on the main road to Balline he saw a little woman sitting on Sesíníns Bridge. He [?] to her, described his heifer to her and asked her if she had seen the animal pas She said his heifer was in a house near by. She told
