One of these robbers was caught and he asked was there any man from Tallow around. One man came and he whispered that the gold was hidden about a mile from Tallow in Glenaboy Wood. He then told him that when the moon is full it shows a shadow of a tree on the place where it is hidden. Then the story went around.
