Old Cures

Warts. Make the sign of the cross with a snail and hang him on a white-thorn bush.
Bun. Rib a lizard to your tongue to cure it.
Cut. Put a cobweb over a cut.
Wisp. Make the sign of the cross three times on it with a gold ring.
Headache. Put a wet cloth around your forehead.
Chilblain. Put a poultice of brown sugar and soap
