  1. There is a holy well in Gragherogue
    it is dedicated to St. Margaret. One
    evening a tinker woman washed clothes in it. Another night two women were walking up the road.
    They saw the well moving across
    the fields with lighted candles around
    it and it stopped in one of the fields.
