    Halloween
    In Ireland Halloween is observed by some especially the people by prayer for the family dead. Candles are lighted in the home one for each relative departed and the belief is that the first candle to burn out, the soul it was lighted for goes to heaven first. The prayers for the dead usually consist of the family rosary
