    The wool was dyed in copprice and alum and was spun and sent to the weaver.
    The implements used by the tailor were a 'goose', thimble, scissors, needle and thread. In the long ago all sorts of stockings were knitted of homespun thread. There is no spinningwheel in our village but there are two in Comderry in use at the present day.
