disused grave-yard in "Tallabawn," about four miles from here, right out in the sand, near the sea-shore. There was nobody buried there for many years past. The unbaptised children around here are buried on the "Dumhach near the sea, and the unbaptised children around Louisburgh were buried long ago at Carraclaggan - a place about half a mile from the town. Sometimes, people from other places who marry here, are brought from here, when they die, to be buried in their native parishes.
