    Whooping-cough. A cure for a whooping -cough is, to milk a female ass, and drink the milk.
    Measles. People say it is a good cure, to get nettles and boil them. and to give the person who has the measles the juice of them, and it is supposed to cure them.
    Doctor. It is supposed that the seventh son of a family without any girl in between, has a lot of cures, and he is called a doctor.
